Here's an excerpt from Cindy Sheehan's latest dross at the Huffington Post (h/t: John Hawkins):
"The vast majority of people who were looting in New Orleans were doing so to feed their families or to get resources to get their families out of there. If I had a store with an inventory of insured belongings, and a tragedy happened, I would fling my doors open and tell everyone to take what they need: it is only stuff. When our fellow citizens are told to "shoot to kill" other fellow citizens because they want to stay alive, that is military and governmental fascism gone out of control." (emphasis mine)
Is it just me, or does anyone else get an image of the A-Team here? I'm imagining Hannibal and Murdoch stealing thousands of pipe cleaners, broom handles and fireworks, holing up in a shed for a few hours before bursting through the doors in a fully functional Humvee/hydrofoil. With water cannons.
"I pity the fool who builds a large settlement on a flood plain."
Can you guess the looter? That's right, it's Hannibal. Those pants belong to Murdoch
